Life’s pressures and challenges can be difficult to handle alone. East Carolina University partners with ComPsych to provide Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP) benefits for faculty and staff employed by the university, as well as their immediate family members.

*Note: Temporary employees, students (including graduate students), and individuals in visitor/no-pay status are not eligible to access ECU FASAP services unless they are family members of a qualified ECU faculty or staff member.

How to register on the Guidance Resources website:

  1. At the home page, click “Register”.
  2. At the top of the next page, enter the Organization Web ID ECUFASAP and click register again.
  3. Complete the remainder of the boxes with your desired username and password and other requested information, and then click “Submit”.
  4. On subsequent visits, use the username and password you established on your first visit to access resources.

 

Confidential Counseling

Someone to talk to…

This service helps you address stress, relationship, and other personal issues you and your family may face. It is staffed by Guidance Consultants – highly trained master’s and doctoral level clinicians who will listen to your concerns and quickly refer you to in-person counseling for up to 3 sessions per issue per year related to challenges such as:

  • Stress, anxiety, and depression
  • Relationship/marital conflicts
  • Problems with children
  • Job pressures
  • Grief and loss
  • Substance abuse

 

Legal Support and Resources

Expert info when you need it.

Talk to experienced attorneys by phone.  If you require representation, you’ll be referred to a qualified attorney in your area for a free 30-minute consultation with a 25% reduction in customary legal fees thereafter. Call about:
