COVID-19 Community Service Leave

Community Service Leave has been expanded to include an additional 80 hours (prorated for part-time employees) that can be used for volunteering with non-profit organizations on COVID-19 activities.  The additional Community Service Leave hours are available to leave earning employees effective immediately.

• 80 hours provided in addition to regular CSL hours (prorated for part-time employees)
• Employees in leave earning positions are eligible –  SHRA, CSS, EHRA-Non-Faculty, EHRA 12-month Faculty
• Hours will be granted in Kronos and available for use effective immediately
• Hours will be accounted for separately from regular CSL
  • Special pay code in Kronos – COVID19-Community Service Leave
  • Super Admins will need add the applicable comment ‘CSL CV19 Volunteer Activity’ when expensing
